Current Studies:

AbbVie Inc.

This study aims to compare pancrelipase delayed-release modernized process to pancrepilase DR (Creon) in dietary fat absorption in CF patients with EPI. EPI is a condition where the pancreas organ does not deliver enough digestive enzymes to the small intestine to break down food you eat.

CareCOPD

This NIH (National Institutes of Health) study, for patients with COPD, uses two new FDA-approved devices to measure lung health and medication usage. Its aims are to investigate if we can learn about lung health by studying the patterns and trends in the daily lung obstruction data. Data will help scientists and physicians understand how lungs change over time for COPD patients and what the best care interventions would be.

CHLA CIAPM (CA Initiative to Advance Precision Medicine)

The goal of this research program is to improve the power of early screening by combining the use of a questionnaire to identify infants exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) by using innovative laboratory biomeasures, monitoring maternal well-being and challenges, and implementing developmental assessments that independently identify disruptions in metabolic health, a specific consequence of toxic stress.
